About Team Collinsworth
The reason we got into making a blog is because my senior year at BYU I was dealing with knee tendinitis and I would type in on Google, “how to get rid of knee tendinitis,” and everything I read was so simple and didn’t have any affect on my knee at all. I was introduced to this guy out in LA who helped my knee pain go away. I couldn’t find that information by going in on Google and typing it in.
So we want to give athletes (or anyone) the chance to be able to go in and learn about nutrition, health, recovery, and a strong mental approach. Really, anything that can help improve an athlete’s performance. I want to provide an opportunity for others to read, learn, and share what works for them and what things helped them out. That’s why I started my first blog, “athletes chat”, which has now grown into this blog. Athlete’s Guide 5, which covers our five prong approach for elevating athletic performance to the next level: 1) nutrition, 2) health, 3) strength & conditioning, 4) rehab, and 5) the mental approach. Some of the posts will focus exclusively on one of these five aspects of health and wellness, but most posts will cover two or more as all five are critical to improving athletic performance.
