Our Trip To The Farmers Market (What we got, What we Made)

An ideal Saturday for me would be to exercise in the morning and then head to the farmers market and buy some food for breakfast and for the next couple of days! Going to the farmers market is one of my favorite things to do! Check out what we got, and what we made!

What we got

Grass-Fed Beef Roast Chuck $14  Bag of Parsely $1.50, Bag of Mixed Greens $2, Fresh Salsa $5, Bag of Radishes $3, Bag of Carrots $3, Bag of Purple Kale $3, Bag of Brussel sprouts $3, Bag of White Potatoes $2

What We Made

Breakfast Plate

Ingredients- Grass-fed uncured bacon, avocado, eggs (6), White potatoes, onions, salsa, and purple Kale


Crock Pot Beef Roast and veggies

White Potatoes

Brussel Sprouts




Grass-fed Beef Roast Chuck

Added a little water and salt and pepper


We were able to make a big organic healthy breakfast and a big crock pot meal that will provide 2-3 meals per person. For a little under $40 dollars you get 3-4 meals per person with left over greens and veggies to make more food. Eating healthy isn’t expensive it just takes more time to buy and prepare. Eating healthy isn’t so much about cost as it is about convenience. Like anything make eating healthy a priority and you will begin to have success! Have a great Saturday!
